Before the holiday break Musicbox Oxana (Büderich and Neuss) performed ” The Nutcracker” with artistic support from the ISR International School on the Rhine at the C. Bechstein Centrum Düsseldorf.
The children-only fairy tale was supported by ISR’s Young Artist Group and Creative Minds groups who decorated the concert halls in a hand-painted “Nutcracker” motif. The group started preparing the music, dancing, and acting several months ago helping to ensure the performance was a big success. From the actors, dancers, and musicians, everyone did a fantastic job! Great work everyone!
Student Spotlights: Spotlight On Our Student Philipp
Spotlight On Our Student Philipp
Phillipp plays the drums, guitar, and piano and he is a member of the ISR Rock Band. Being a talented drummer, he has already participated in various music competitions in the Düsseldorf area.
His last competition was “Jugend Musiziert”, where he won first place in Rhein-Kreis Neuss and second place at the national level. In German, we would say “die Musik steckt ihm im Blut” or “music is in his blood”.
Philip’s talents also include acting. Most recently, Philip played a role in the musical “The Nutcracker”. We are pretty impressed, Philipp you rock!
