MUN 2016 in New York
During the Easter vacation, nine ISR students participated in the Model United Nations Conference in New York, USA in the United Nations Building.
Not only was it academically rewarding with two and a half days of debates, but they were fortunate to spend the rest of the time enjoying the sights of New York. From the Empire State Building to the Modern Museum of Arts, the Natural History museum to the M&M store, the 9/11 Memorial site to an NBA Basketball game, the students loved the trip and wish to return as soon as possible.
ISR MUN Executive Team
Additionally, ISR has its own MUN Executive Team, which successfully organizes internal MUN simulations. Our students thereby act as delegates for countries, which they then represent in a committee. Together they debate about current or past international issues and at the end of the conference, a solution is found. In the process, the delegates learn to lead discussion rounds, conduct research, and debate.
