

Duke of Edinburgh International Program
The Duke of Edinburgh International Award programme is now available to our older students from the age of 14. It is a tool to develop essential skills for life, and is a recognized feature that is highly respected by universities and employers.
It requires purposeful independent work whereby student undergo a process of self-discovery and entails completing 3 months of volunteering work, 3 months of learning a new skill, 3 months of a physical activity, and 1 – 3 nights expedition where the students will hike and camp in the great outdoors.
It is a voluntary programme with personally selected activities and an opportunity to discover new interests and talents.
Interested students must contact Ms. Bezuidenhout by November 8th and pay a 25 euro. registration fee – the excursion will require extra costs.
