Since the summer of 2017, we have been a reliable partner in healthy nutrition, and since February 2020, our kitchen team—currently led by Matthias Taag—has been preparing lunch freshly on-site every day in the ISR kitchen!"

Catering for schools and day-care centers
When it comes to our young ones, we put quality first. The meals for our school and daycare catering are prepared fresh every day. Side dishes such as pasta, rice, and potatoes are mostly organic. Fruits, salads, and vegetables are supplied exclusively by our long-standing regional partners.
Our monthly menu offers children two to three different lunch options each day, at least one of which is vegetarian. We do not use pork; poultry or beef is included, and fish is served once a week. There are no one-size-fits-all meals—only tasty and varied dishes that provide a solid foundation for daily learning and growth. Meals are repeated at the earliest every six to eight weeks. Our nutritionists design the menu according to the guidelines of the German Nutrition Society (DGE).
In addition, children can help themselves at a salad bar and receive dessert twice a week, alternating between quark, yogurt, or a small pastry; fresh fruit is available daily.
Our catering team always ensures a balanced and healthy diet, rich in vegetables, grains, fresh salads, and only the finest ingredients. For example, we serve the ever-popular organic spirals with Bolognese, but also, occasionally, pumpkin curry with chickpeas as a vegetarian alternative. Furthermore, several times a week we offer complete menus made entirely from organic products, which we clearly highlight on the menu.
Meals from our school and daycare catering are thoughtfully prepared with a lot of care. We aim to play a significant role in helping children learn early on the importance of healthy eating—and, most importantly, that it is fun. When creating the menu, we always consider the preferences and trends of children and adolescents, so there is something for every taste. Children do not have to choose in advance; they can decide at the serving station which meal they would like.
