ISR Parent Network

ISR has a very active Parent Network. If your child joins the ISR you are automatically a member of the Parent Network.

The Parent Network sets three goals

  • The first and the most important one is to create a healthy parent community in school where families feel “at home”. We organize a wide range of activities during the school year, but we can only make this a success with the help of you the parents!
  • The second goal is to provide ideas/feedback to the school on how ISR can better achieve the goal of being one of the best schools in Europe. Any feedback is welcome so that we, as parents, together with our students can achieve this.
  • The third goal is creating a platform for exchanging “best practices” between school and parents. For example, we have an informal coffee one morning every week, after drop off where we can exchange ideas and talk about whatever topics are in our minds at that moment.

Parent Network is organized via Class Representatives. For every class, we have one or more parents who are the spokespersons for their class. The Class Representatives organize evenings where parents get together to meet each other and catch up. The Class Representative supports the teacher on school-related activities and is the first point of contact for the new families.
