Student Spotlights: Spotlight On Our Student Peter

Friday, 7 May 2021

This week, we spotlight our musical fourth-grader Peter, who joined ISR in the 1st grade. Peter found it very easy to make friends at ISR right from the start. His empathetic nature is what sets him apart and makes him a friend that everyone appreciates. In addition to his positive character traits, Peter also excels in academics. Peter enjoys going to school and always actively participates in the classroom. His contributions in all subjects are well thought out and helpful to discussions taking place in the class.

Peter’s passions include books and music. He especially enjoys reading and also confidently recites books and also delights in giving presentations to the entire class. His music teacher, Mrs. Bucher, is enthusiastic about his musical talent, she says of him, “Peter is a complete package musically – he has a natural talent, is very hardworking and already has a special stage presence at his young age”.

His impressive imagination is also highlighted by his teachers and coordinators. “Peter amazed his teachers in the first grade with his exciting and well-written stories, which he immortalized in his diary,” emphasizes his grade coordinator Mrs. Ghica. She adds in conclusion: “I have known Peter since the first grade. Over the course of this year, Peter’s linguistic confidence in English has continued to grow and his passion for learning is second to none. He is an extremely friendly, soft-spoken student who makes new contacts with ease.”

We are very proud to spotlight Peter one of ISR’s many outstanding students!

Every Friday, our Student Spotlight Project aims to highlight one of our outstanding students who represent our school motto, “we enable great minds and strong characters”. No matter if it is academic success, special commitment or outstanding character traits – we look forward to sharing each of these success stories.
