Student Spotlight: Spotlight On Our Student Milo

Friday, 22 October 2021

This week we spotlight our third-grader Milo, who joined ISR in first grade. Milo is a kind and caring student and has found many friends at ISR. He is always willing to lend a helping hand to his classmates and he likes to share his books with the class allowing other class members to also form a love of reading. He has taken on classroom roles such as teacher’s assistant and restroom monitor, but will also happily help with clean-ups or handing out.

Milo sets a great example to those around him and his teacher Ms. Schmidt sees in him a role model. “Milo has risen to all the challenges of Grade 3 beautifully. He is a  valued member of our class and loved by all his peers. Milo enjoys all things creative and shows great care and effort when completing any piece of art. He especially enjoyed creating a masterpiece treehouse out of recycled household items. Milo is especially fond of reading and can easily get lost in a book for hours, he is reading a very interesting and factual book all about dinosaurs and prehistoric creatures. All this reading means Milo is definitely the person to chat to should you wish to know anything about anything.”

We are very proud to spotlight Milo, one of ISR’s many outstanding students!

Every Friday, our Student Spotlight Project aims to highlight one of our outstanding students who represent our school motto, “we enable great minds and strong characters”. No matter if it is academic success, special commitment, or outstanding character traits – we look forward to sharing each of these success stories.
