Spotlight On Our Student Kevin

This week, we spotlight our soon-to-be ninth grader Kevin, who has been part of the ISR community since the second grade. Kevin stands out as a friendly and joyful student who is also extremely helpful. His passion is sports; for the past five years, he has been playing table tennis professionally at the TG Neuss Table Tennis Club. He plays in both the U15 and U18 age groups in the District League and even in the NRW League. He is extremely talented and has already received many awards throughout his sporting career. Kevin’s second great passion is music. He has been playing the piano and drums for six years now, though he has recently been concentrating more on his drum lessons. He has also won several competitions in his musical endeavors. He recently won the regional competition Jugend Musiziert, which qualified him for the state competition.

Besides his passions for music and sports, Kevin is very interested in languages and enjoys reading in his free time. Last year, he successfully participated in a TV show with seven other students from ISR. Competing against a team of German celebrities, they performed impressively in knowledge tests, puzzles, experiments, sports, and skill tests. Unsurprisingly, they won. Kevin continues to represent ISR in an exemplary manner and the entire school community is extremely proud of his achievements!
