Spotlight On Our Student Angela

This week, we spotlight our sixth-grader Yuechen, who joined ISR in grade 2. Yuechen, or Angela as she is known to her friends and teachers, is a diligent student who works hard not just to acquire knowledge but how to apply it in both her life and studies. She constantly wants to aid her friends and classmates in an effort to raise them up and make their own work better. In addition, she is a kind and thoughtful student. “She is very energetic and loves to spread laughter and a positive attitude. She was a great joy to have in the classroom”, as her former teacher, Ms. Schultze adds. Angela is a disciplined student with special interests in tidiness, continuous listening, and participation. Her German teacher Ms. Horvath, who has taught her for two years, adds, “She shows a constant development in language skills. Angela is a receptive person with lots of humor and social engagement – an enrichment for my German class.”

Her academic head, Ms. Brand Lillywhite says about her “Angela is a thoughtful and kind student who has a very positive attitude to learning. She is full of personality and is well-liked by her teachers and peers. In addition, Angela is a hardworking and conscientious student who exemplifies our motto “It’s cool to be good!”.

We are very proud to spotlight Angela, one of ISR’s many outstanding students!

Every Friday, our Student Spotlight Project aims to highlight one of our outstanding students who, in line with this year’s theme, is striving for “extraordinary achievements” on a daily basis. No matter if it is academic success, special commitment or outstanding character traits – we look forward to sharing each of these success stories.
