Spotlight On Our Student Selin

This week, we spotlight our twelfth-grader, Selin, who joined ISR in 2018. Selin is a hardworking student and stands out for her kindness. Additionally, she is motivated and gives her best during class. Selin enjoys her time with her classmates and is a team player. She is genuinely interested in global themes and is curious about what is going on in the world.

Selin is in her last year of the IB program and works hard to achieve her professional dreams. She is passionate about becoming a doctor and everything related to medicine; therefore, she is planning to study medicine in the UK or Germany. Ulrike Wacker, Head of University & Career Counseling, says about her, “Selin is a very caring, gentle, soft-spoken but determined young lady who went to Turkey after the earthquake and helped the victims at the time – an experience that challenged her but also shaped her and made her grow as a person.”

We are very proud to spotlight Selin, one of ISR’s many outstanding students!

Every Friday, our Student Spotlight Project aims to highlight one of our outstanding students who, in line with this year’s theme, is striving for “extraordinary achievements” on a daily basis. No matter if it is academic success, special commitment or outstanding character traits – we look forward to sharing each of these success stories.
