Spotlight On Our Student Romy

This week, we spotlight our fifth-grader, Romy, who joined ISR in 2019. Romy is a friendly student who is always kind to teachers and classmates. She enjoys her time at ISR and stands out for her positive character. “Romy is one of the kindest people you’ll ever meet, and she is very empathetic. If you ever have a hard day, she will put a smile back on your face,” as her former primary German teacher, Ms. Lorenzen, says. Romy also quickly convinced her middle school teacher, Ms. Schultze, of her lovely personality. “Romy is a very kind and outgoing member of our class. Her classmates enjoy working alongside her. She asks questions and is very curious about many things. Keep up the great work!”

Romy works hard during class, shows lots of curiosity, and loves learning. The Academic Head of Grade 1, Ms. Ghica, also knows her and adds, “I wish to bring attention to the outstanding qualities and positive impact of our student, Romy. Over the course of her time at ISR, Romy has consistently demonstrated a remarkable ability to brighten the atmosphere and uplift the spirits of those around her. She has proven to be a true “ray of sunshine” within our ISR Community. She possesses a genuine and infectious enthusiasm for learning, which is not only evident in her academic achievements but also in her interactions with peers, teachers, and staff. Romy’s positive attitude is a source of inspiration and also a role model for peers, consistently embodying the values we strive to instill in our students.”

We are very proud to spotlight Romy, one of ISR’s many outstanding students!

Every Friday, our Student Spotlight Project aims to highlight one of our outstanding students who, in line with this year’s theme, is striving for “extraordinary achievements” on a daily basis. No matter if it is academic success, special commitment or outstanding character traits – we look forward to sharing each of these success stories.
