Spotlight On Our Student Kristina

This week, we spotlight our twelfth-grader Kristina, who joined ISR in kindergarten. Kristina is already part of the ISR Family for almost twelve years and will graduate this school year. Through her journey at ISR, there are many beautiful memories to recall and mutual appreciation with her teachers. “Kristina has always been a pleasure to teach, and it has been wonderful to see her develop and grow over her time at ISR. As her English teacher, I was always impressed with her writing and analytical skills and her ability to think critically and above all independently. Kristina is curious, thoughtful, and empathic and takes on responsibility with a smile.”, as Ms. Leach says. Mr. Bates adds, “Kristina has been an absolute pleasure to teach. She is always willing to help and I know that I can completely rely on her for any assistance that I need. In class, I am always trying to catch her out: When I think she is not listening, I jump to quiz her on what I have just been talking about and, unfortunately, she always knows! (I have never won that game) Kristina is a very good listener – a very good multitasker, and she is a charming, dedicated student who is confidently making her own path. I wish her all the luck in the future.”

Mr. Lillywhite knows her since grade 8 and describes her as an outstanding student. “She is always considerate of her peers and devoted to academic improvement. Her growth and maturity as a person over the last few years is commendable; as is her independent spirit and drive to succeed.” Ms. Racheva, PE teacher at ISR, knows Kristina for incredibly 10 years. “She has grown up from a little girl to a beautiful, independent young lady. She always has a smile that makes your day and she is super kind and polite all the time. Kristina accepts all the responsibility both in and out of school and she is self-motivated and organizes her own time management. In addition,  she is independent in decision-making and has become a lifelong learner. It was a privilege and honour to have her as my student and I’m excited to see what she will achieve in the future.”

We are very proud to spotlight Kristina, one of ISR’s many outstanding students!

Every Friday, our Student Spotlight Project aims to highlight one of our outstanding students who, in line with this year’s theme, is striving for “extraordinary achievements” on a daily basis. No matter if it is academic success, special commitment or outstanding character traits – we look forward to sharing each of these success stories.
