Spotlight On Our Student Cameron

This week, we spotlight Cameron, one of our exchange students from “The Talentprojekt”,  in Grade 10. Cameron’s hometown is San Diego, California and he came to Germany in August to experience the German culture and to improve his already excellent football skills. He is a goalkeeper and actually owns a pair of Manuel Neuer’s goalkeeping gloves!

Cameron is truly the sort of guy you enjoy seeing every day. He brings a positive spirit to our school and likes to make things better for everyone around him. During the School Area Championship, he joined the ISR Team but due to an injury he, unfortunately, couldn’t be our goalkeeper. Instead, he played on the field and helped coach the goalkeeper, giving him useful tips and cheering him on throughout the game. The team ended up winning the championship!

Cameron is well-liked among his new friends at ISR and he is known for his good sense of humor. His host parents here in Germany are delighted to have him in their family and look forward to the many nice memories that are still to come. Also academically, Cameron is a very hard-working student and his teacher Ms. McGee says he is ambitious and always willing to improve.

We are proud to spotlight Cameron, one of many of ISR’s outstanding students!

Our Student Spotlight project aims to highlight every Friday one of our outstanding students who is, appropriate to this year’s theme, striving for “extraordinary achievements” on a daily basis. No matter if its academic success, a special commitment, or outstanding character traits – we look forward to sharing each of these success stories.
