Student Spotlights: Spotlight On Our Student Michitake
Friday, 2 April 2021
This week, we spotlight again one of our outstanding Niederkassel Kindergarten students Michitake, who joined the ISR Kindergarten in August 2020. Settling into a new environment was challenging for him at first, but with the support of his classmates and teachers, he quickly found his feet and now feels very comfortable.
In the beginning, he only understood a little English, but he has made great progress in a short time and now finds it easy to converse in English and enjoys it. He has a great personality and a terrific sense of humor, which his teachers and classmates enjoy and makes them laugh. In addition to his linguistic progress, he has made many other advances during his time in Kindergarten. He can say the sounds to all the letters in the alphabet and is beginning to read some words. In addition, he has a keen interest in numbers and can often be heard counting out loud all the way to 100.
Michitake is also very creative and is enthusiastic about building castles and towers with his friends. His Kindergarten teacher Ms. Mckenzie adds “We are all very proud of Michitake´s achievements”.
We are very proud to spotlight Michitake one of ISR’s many outstanding students!
Every Friday, our Student Spotlight Project aims to highlight one of our outstanding students who represent our school motto, “we enable great minds and strong characters”. No matter if it is academic success, special commitment or outstanding character traits – we look forward to sharing each of these success stories.
