Spotlight On Our Student Jubin

This week, we spotlight our first-grader Jubin, who joined ISR this year. “Jubin is a true ray of sunshine and has come very far since starting ISR in August 2022. After initially being very shy and nervous, and not knowing any English or German, he has developed rapidly and is now very funny and outgoing, while still following all the rules and working hard. He also is a skilled artist and will doodle little images with our letter of the week after finishing his work. It is a pleasure to have Jubin in our class.” says German Primary Coordinator, Ms. Lorenzen. During class, he always tries his best and is not afraid of new challenges. Jubin has made remarkable progress and has greatly impressed his teachers. “Jubin is a very sweet, warm, friendly child! He gives his best at Music and always has a friendly “hello” when welcoming me or passing me in the corridor.  His English has improved very quickly because he’s a hard worker.” adds his music teacher Ms. Bucher.

His Grade 1 teacher, Ms. Broscheit, finally adds, “Jubin joined my Grade 1 classroom at the beginning of the school year. Upon meeting him, I could tell he had the characteristics of a warm and friendly child. He has shown great strength since joining us and is a true definition of perseverance. A quote that I find best describes Jubin comes from Winnie the Pooh: “The things that make me different are the things that make me.” I think this quote is a true reflection of Jubin’s character; he is proud to be himself, and I am proud of him in his journey through Grade 1.”

We are very proud to spotlight Jubin, one of ISR’s many outstanding students!

Every Friday, our Student Spotlight Project aims to highlight one of our outstanding students who, in line with this year’s theme, is striving for “extraordinary achievements” on a daily basis. No matter if it is academic success, special commitment or outstanding character traits – we look forward to sharing each of these success stories.
