Spanish Study Trip – Barcelona!

This past weekend twenty-five grade seven and eight students, accompanied by Ms. Hautz, Ms. Racheva and Mr. Deyes travelled to Barcelona for our annual Spanish Study Trip! The students participated in a whirlwind of activities designed to expose them to the wonders of Spanish culture and give them as many opportunities to speak Spanish as possible.

They visited a wide array of beautiful and interesting places including la Pedrera, Casa Mila, the CosmoCaixa Science Museum, Pueblo Español, Park Güell, the Aquarium, took a cruise around the harbour and had a walking tour in the Gothic neighbourhood and Old Town! The trip was a great success that was enjoyed by all! We have already been asked where the destination is for next year.
