Student Spotlights: Spotlight On Our Student Christina

Friday, 19 March 2021

This week, we spotlight our ninth-grader Christina who joined ISR in Grade 1. Christina is characterized by her friendly, helpful, and also witty character. She is well-liked by her classmates and her outgoing nature makes it easy for her to meet new people. Christina is very ambitious, and this is also reflected in her academics. She has gone above and beyond in the past few months and has made great progress, as her Math teacher, Mr. Hammad, also confirms. “She has been working really well in mathematics over the past couple of months. Although she has been in lockdown like everyone else, she was always on time, actively participating in the class and constantly helping others.”

Christina is not only convincing in Mathematics but across all subjects. Her Science teacher Ms. Vig, says that she has many wonderful qualities including being kind, funny and friendly: “the best thing about Christina is she will accept, reflect and act on all the feedback I give her, which is why teaching her is such a pleasure! You’ve got this Christina!”

Supervisor, Mr. Mo, who has known Christina for many years, concludes, “Christinchen, as I call her, is the youngest of her siblings, and she is very intelligent.  Christinchen already knows exactly what she wants to achieve, and she is an asset to the ISR community. I am always there when she wants to talk, and it fills me with pride that she puts her trust in me. I am very proud of her personal development.”

We are very proud to spotlight Christina one of ISR’s many outstanding students!

Every Friday, our Student Spotlight Project aims to highlight one of our outstanding students who represent our school motto, “we enable great minds and strong characters”. No matter if it is academic success, special commitment or outstanding character traits – we look forward to sharing each of these success stories.
