AIWCD Halloween Party 2026

On Sunday, our hallways were filled with little ghosts, spooky witches, and a wonderful variety of creative costumes as the American International Women’s Club Düsseldorf (AIWCD) and ISR once again hosted their traditional Charity Halloween Party!

Many families gathered for a fun-filled afternoon of Halloween games at ISR. Children tested their skills at Balloon Darts, Feed the Spider, Pumpkin Pong, Plinko, Pin the Spider on the Web, and Pumpkin Pitch, and crossed their fingers for a sweet win at the Cupcake Walk. At the Craft Station, they decorated foam pumpkins and made glow-in-the-dark bracelets to take home, while the bake sale and hot dogs kept everyone well fueled throughout the day.

As every year, the annual Haunted Hallway was a major highlight! The bravest guests were greeted by a mysterious witch who read their fortunes in tarot cards before stepping into the glowing black-light laboratory of our mad scientist. Surrounded by his eerie experiments, the children were invited to help the scientist find inspiration for his next invention by drawing on his lab walls with fluorescent markers – a thrilling adventure for the whole family!

Thanks to the generosity of everyone who joined us, the event raised over €3,000 for the AIWCD Official charities, supporting their vital work in our local community.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to the American International Women’s Club, our long-standing partner, for organizing yet another unique Halloween celebration that brought joy to so many children. A special recognition goes to the AIWCD volunteers and our dedicated ISR CAS students, who contributed enthusiastically to the day’s success – from portraying the witch and mad scientist to running the exciting Halloween games and craft station. We would also like to thank everyone who baked, donated, and volunteered their time, as well as our ISR facilities, security, and cleaning teams for helping the day run smoothly. And, of course, a big thank you to all of the families and guests who came out to celebrate with us!

We are grateful for the opportunity to share this American tradition once again with our international families!
