ISR Alumni & Friends Network
With over 233 alumni worldwide, the ISR Alumni & Friends Network provides ISR alumni the opportunity to strengthen and foster ties between fellow alumni and the ISR community. Through this portal, you can share academic and professional successes, engage socially with fellow graduates, and stay in touch with the latest news from the ISR campus. You can also find and make valuable professional connections that will make you more productive and successful.
We encourage all alumni to create profiles and share the latest updates from your academic or professional career. You can add a class note highlighting a personal or professional accomplishment, connect with a former classmate, or locate fellow ISR graduates in your city.
With a perspective of the past and an appreciation for the future, the ISR Alumni & Friends Network strives to build a supportive community for our graduates long past graduation. Thank you for joining the ISR Alumni & Friends Network, staying engaged, and impacting current and former students.

Outstanding Alumni accomplishment
Nicky K. and his father climbed up the Mount Kilimanjaro to raise money for the Tanzanian Educational Fund that helps local children attend school and get a good education.
In Tanzania, many children don’t attend school simply because there are very few schools in existence. The Tanzania Education Fund supports girls and boys, many of them orphans, through scholarships and the Girls’ English Language Immersion Initiative.
They also provide students, teachers, and the greater community with healthcare through the Modern Medics Tanzania Clinic. “In the spirit of CAS and embracing our roles as global citizens, it was important to us to integrate social awareness and contribution” the family said about this project.
We are more than proud of Nicky and that he has achieved such a feat at such a young age! Go and check out the page and support their outstanding efforts for a good cause!
Former ISR Student Returns as a Teacher
Christiane is a former ISR student who started at ISR as a teacher last week. “I’m very excited to return to ISR. It’s been a long time and it’s good to be home” she says.
She came to ISR in 2009 and attended Grade 9 through to Grade 12, completing her IB and High School diploma. “Through ISR’s amazing teachers, I had the privilege of attending Clark University in Worcester, USA. I achieved my Bachelor of Arts in English and Screen Studies as well as my Masters in Teaching.”
She then taught Primary German for a year in Heidelberg, Germany but really felt strongly about coming back to the school that she says helped her achieve her goals. “I wanted to be a part of the fantastic team I knew and loved”. Luckily, her dream came true and since last week she began teaching German Beginner and English Beginner in Primary. Christiane is very excited for the opportunities to come and we are more than happy to have Christiane back at the ISR as she is a wonderful add-on to our amazing teaching staff.
