Trainer information:
My name is Andrea Grasmugg and I am a mother of four children. After I trained to lead courses in baby gymnastics and massage, I followed a course of study to become an IPSUM parent counselor in “Early Childhood” in Stuttgart and qualified as a daycare worker following the curriculum of the Deutsches Jugendinstitut e.V., Munich. As the topic of early childhood is particularly close to my heart, I have also trained as a SAFE® mentor.
I have been leading baby gymnastics groups for many years. As part of my courses and lectures, families are lovingly accompanied on all issues related to birth and the first years of life.
Course information:
- Wednesdays – between 9:00 and 10:00 am (course language English)
- Fridays – between 9:00 and 10:00 am (course language German)
- Maximum number of 8 parents with a child
- 8-course units
- Venue: ISR Kindergarten Niederkassel
Costs:
One course unit costs 6 Euro for ISR families / 12.50 Euro for external families
Course content:
The parent-child course is aimed at kids’ age starting from 6 weeks old. Under loving guidance, the child is encouraged in motor skill, emotional, social, and linguistic development. This is done through songs, fingerplays, movement elements, and baby massage, but also by observing the children as they slowly learn to understand themselves and their environment.
The course will only take place if the COVID-19 regulations will allow it at the time of the event.
