Our “Student Spotlight” project aims to highlight every Friday one of our outstanding students. No matter if academic achievements, special commitment or outstanding character traits – we look forward to each of these success stories.
This week, we spotlight our lovely kindergarten student Kiara. Kiara is a bright, friendly flower who loves to share a smile and a laugh. She has worked very hard this school year and also did an amazing job working virtually. She is always focused and enjoyed her Zoom sessions to catch up with her friends and her teachers. She distinguishes herself through her communicative manner and her classmates enjoy spending time with her.
This week, we spotlight our sixth-grader Natsuki who moved from Japan to Germany last year. Natsuki worked hard in class to catch up and has done an amazing job. Her English teachers Ms. Freise says about her, “She has made immense improvements in English since she came to Germany. I am proud of this young smart lady!”
This week, we spotlight our Kindergarten student Leyra who joined ISR last year and has never lived in Germany before. Last school year she worked hard and really has come out of her shell! She gets along with her classmates perfectly and is an open-minded young lady. She has a versatile character and her friends especially appreciate her friendliness and helpfulness.
This week, we spotlight our humble 11th grade student Darya, who joined ISR in grade 9. Darya is a very polite, self-reflected, and mature student who always gives her best academically and supports her friends. She never has a bad day in school and her performance is always top-notch.
This week, we spotlight our seven grade student Samruddhi who joined ISR in 2018. Samruddhi is a wonderful Grade 7 student who brightens her classroom environment with her positive attitude! Every single day, Samruddhi welcomes her classmates and teachers to her homeroom 7C with a smile! She is a hard-working student who strives for academic success.
This week, we spotlight our athletic eight-grader student Luis, who joined ISR in Grade 1. Luis has developed tremendously in the last year and shines with his very enthusiastic character. He has a strong sense of individuality and his mind is always working to further his talents and future pursuits.
This week, we spotlight our committed Grade 11 student Angelina, who has been part of our ISR Community since Kindergarten. Angelina’s academic achievements are outstanding and to recognize these she has received a letter of commendation from the Head of Upper School. She is always very focused and knows exactly what she would like to do in the future: after her graduation in 2021 she intends to study Business.
