This week, we spotlight our first-grader Sahej. Sahej loves Advising lessons and always has wonderful comments to make. He is a very thoughtful and insightful student, and he always brings so much to discussions in the classroom. In Japan, March 3 is “Girls Day,” also known as “Hina Matsuri”. This is a special day for girls to celebrate their health and happiness. From the end of February to March 3rd, families display their daughters graceful dolls dressed in Japanese ancient costumes.

His German teacher Ms. Feinstein says “he might be a quiet student but pays close attention in class and works very hard to succeed. He knows when to ask questions and continuously volunteers to help.
