Fresh vegetables, fragrant herbs and lots of cooking utensils: This year, for the first time ever, the ISR Cooking Camp took place at the school. Eight students spent a week delving into practical nutrition tips, tasty recipes and lots of cooking and baking fun. Of course, a visit to local farms and a visit to the market was not to be missed! The children learnt a lot about animal welfare, fresh fruits and vegetables and how a farm shop is built and how it operates.
The final highlight of the week: All participants invited their parents to share in a home-cooked dinner. From the table decoration, the invitations to the dinner itself – everything was taken care of by the children.
We are looking forward to the next Cooking Camp and thank all diligent helpers and and supervisors for their tireless commitment. School has never been so “tasty”!
