Anderson is one of our American exchange students from The Talentprojekt. As his mother is German, he already spoke some German before he came and has been helping his fellow exchange students to settle in. His coach, Mr. Baumann, says Anderson has a very professional athletic attitude and is a leader on the pitch, not to mention always the first one out there.

Around 80 students and 17 kindergarten children from ISR as well as some students from neighboring schools completed the DFB-Paule-Schnupperabzeichen at ISR last Friday. ISR, in cooperation with the DFB, has been organizing the Paule-Schnupperabzeichen for interested students from the region for four years now.
This week we spotlight Anna from Grade 12, who has been at ISR since her Kindergarten days. Anna is currently preparing for her IB final exams and would like to study mechanical engineering in Aachen after graduating ISR. For Anna and her whole family, sport is an important part of their lives. Anna is passionate about carriage driving. Anna has won several tournaments and this summer she became the Show Champion with her horse Titus at the annual Rheinischen Championship for Carriage Drivers.
It was Race-Time again! Last Saturday, over 50 ISR students from our Kindergarten, Primary School, and Middle School participated in the Neuss School Cross Running competition at the ISR sports facility. Depending on their age, our students finished ran either a 400m, 600m or 1000m running course.
Once again, over a hundred ISR students together with their parents took part in the ISR St. Martin Parade on the grounds of the sports club PSV Neuss. Our students happily walked around the entire square, led by St. Martin on his horse, with their homemade lanterns in hand. During the parade, all sang St. Martin’s songs accompanied by a small orchestra with various instruments.
Mohamed is a wonderful grade 2 student. Since joining ISR last year, Mohamed has shown strong character in and out of the classroom. Each day he tries his hardest during lessons, persevering even when the material gets difficult. Always with a smile on his face, Mohamed is incredibly kind to each and every student in the classroom as well as to all of his teachers.
