In celebration of the “World Book Day” which took place on April 23rd, our Spanish teachers organized an exciting pen pal letter exchange with a sister school in Barcelona for our Spanish language class students. A total of 60 students participated in this project. The purpose of this exchange was to encourage letter writing amongst students. In times of internet, chatrooms and social media, children forget and sometimes are unable to experience the magic one receives from creating a handwritten letter. All of the students are looking forward to receiving a reply from their new pen pal.

Hungary, Japan, China, Russia and Germany were amongst the nationalities that have joined us.
