While our ISR Kindergarten children are taught in English and have regular German classes at ISR, our multilingual environment offers children the chance to get to know different cultures and languages, thus fostering cultural understanding and tolerance from an early age. Our goal is to truly know your child and use this knowledge to guide, support, and motivate him or her. We believe that good teaching requires continual professional development, personal reflection, and collaboration. ISR values a strong partnership with parents to ensure the most powerful and impactful learning experience for the children.
Our ISR Kindergarten offers an enriching academic-based program with lessons in English, Math, German, Music, Art, and Physical Education where children can learn in a joyful way and can take the first steps toward developing reading and writing skills. We also put great emphasis on children’s social and emotional development, which helps children to communicate their needs and build relationships with their peers.
You can find our ISR Kindergarten both in Düsseldorf (Niederkassel) and in Neuss. Both branches offer the same high-quality academic Kindergarten Program led by qualified native English-speaking educators with German as a compulsory subject and a seamless transfer into primary school. Our group sizes, and the number of teachers and assistants per group, are adjusted to the age of the children. KG Starter is the group for our 3-year-olds, KG1 for our 4-year-olds, and KG2 for our 5-6-year-old children. In this way, we can optimally meet the needs of each individual child.

ISR International School on the Rhine
Private Kindergarten in Düsseldorf and Neuss – on campus right next to the international school
The international school in Neuss, North Rhein Westphalia (NRW) has a private Kindergarten. A second private Kindergarten will open in spring 2020 in Düsseldorf, Oberkassel/ Niederkassel. The international Kindergarten in Dusseldorf will have the same concept as the ISR Kindergarten in Neuss. The new day-care center in Düsseldorf Oberkassel will provide over 100 children from the age of three to six with an excellent international pre-school education. The children at ISR are familiarized with the English language at an early age. As we know that each child is different, we individually tailor the education to fit the needs of your child. After Kindergarten, the children continue into our international primary school followed by our private high school of the international school on the Rhine near Düsseldorf. At the end of their school career, our students acquire the international diploma, the International Baccalaureate (IB), and other high school diplomas. These diplomas are recognized in Germany and internationally. Our teachers prepare the students for a successful future career. In the past years, our students have completed their international high school with outstanding grades, giving our graduates wide career prospects.

The new international Kindergarten in Düsseldorf will offer up to 100 children space. Therewith we can help improve the current shortage of Kindergarten spaces in Düsseldorf. Registrations for the international Kindergarten Düsseldorf and Neuss are accepted throughout the entire year.
