ISR Summer Art Camp
The ISR Art Camp running from 26th June to 30th June offers students an exciting week filled with arts and crafts and every day will be different. All participants will have the opportunity to work in-depth on different projects and learn new techniques: paint on canvas, do collages and mosaics, work with wood and plaster, produce clay models, and much more! All students interested in art, from grade 3 are welcome to participate in this fun-packed week!
ISR Summer Art Camp 2023
Bettina Schulenberg, the owner of KUNST am PLATZ, one of ISR’s cooperation partners, will once again offer an ISR Summer Art Camp this year from June 26th to June 30th. The camp will start at 9:00 AM and end at 3:00 PM at ISR, in the Art Studio on the 1st floor and outside on ISR grounds, weather permitting. The idea of a Summer Art Camp was born when some students asked her to offer “something with more time for art” and so she started the first Summer Art Camp in 2016. It has taken place every first week during summer break since then!
There will be painting, working with clay, papier macheé models, drawing, and much more. On the last day of the camp, the students will organize their own art exhibition with a smoothie bar, open to friends, family, and staff.
The cost is 380 € per child/week including all materials (max. 12 participants). It is open to all students from Grade 3 onwards (the minimum is Grade 3 after the summer break). Hot lunch in the restaurant of Tennis Club Stadtwald just across the street is organized but needs to be booked in addition and costs 8 € per day (except for Friday, when there will be a picnic).
