Student Spotlights: Die Geschichte von Filippa<\/h1>\n
<\/dl>\n

Unser Student Spotlight in dieser Woche ist unsere Erstkl\u00e4sslerin Filippa. Ihrer Lehrerin, Frau Adrienne Stening-Smith, beschrieb wie folgt, warum Filippa das Spotlight in dieser Woche werden sollte: \u00a0,,Filippa ist sowohl gegen\u00fcber ihren Mitsch\u00fclern als auch zu ihren Lehrern unglaublich freundlich, f\u00fcrsorglich und liebevoll. Ich habe ein Zitat gefunden, welches sie perfekt beschreibt. ,,Do things for people not because of what they do in return, but because of who you are.\u201d – Harold S. Kushner.<\/p>\n

Filippa hat ein gro\u00dfes Herz und denkt, bevor sie an sich denkt, immer erst an ihre Mitsch\u00fcler. H\u00e4ufig bringt sie Selbstgebackenes mit zur Schule, um ihren Klassenkameraden eine Freude zu bereiten. Sie ist ein au\u00dfergew\u00f6hnliches Beispiel f\u00fcr das, was meiner Meinung nach die Definition von Freundlichkeit beschreibt. Zum Valentinstag backte sie f\u00fcr ihre gesamte Klasse einen Kuchen und brachte zus\u00e4tzlich Lollis f\u00fcr diejenigen Sch\u00fcler mit, die aufgrund ihrer Glutenunvertr\u00e4glichkeit keinen Kuchen essen d\u00fcrfen.<\/p>\n

Ein weiteres Beispiel ihres liebevollen Charakters zeigte sich, als Filippa einen Mitsch\u00fcler unterst\u00fctzte, der zun\u00e4chst sehr sch\u00fcchtern war. Die Erstkl\u00e4sslerin war f\u00fcr ihn da, baute ihn auf, ermutigte ihn und st\u00e4rkte somit sein Selbstbewusstsein. Nicht zuletzt auch aufgrund ihrer Hilfe hat er eine gro\u00dfartige Entwicklung durchlebt!\u201c<\/p>\n

Wir sind sehr stolz auf Filippa und freuen uns, sie als heutiges Beispiel aus unserer herausragenden Sch\u00fclergemeinschaft hervorheben zu k\u00f6nnen!<\/p>\n

Das \u201eStudent Spotlight\u201c-Projekt hat sich zum Ziel gesetzt, jeden Freitag einen unserer Sch\u00fcler hervorzuheben, der in Anlehnung an unser diesj\u00e4hriges Motto \u201eStaying Ahead\u201c t\u00e4glich \u00fcber sich hinausw\u00e4chst. Egal ob akademische Leistungen, besonderes Engagement oder herausragende Charaktereigenschaften \u2013 wir freuen uns auf jede dieser Erfolgsgeschichten.<\/i><\/p>\n

She has an enormous heart filled with so much love. She always thinks of the students and puts them before her. She shares and always makes delicious treats for our class. She is an exceptional example to what I believe the definition of kindness is. For example, on Valentine\u2019s Day she handmade some cakes for her fellow students. She also brought a lollipop for each one of the students in our class who are unable to eat gluten due to an intolerance. Filippa has also helped another student in her class. This particular student battles with low self-confidence and Filippa is always there building him up and encouraging him. Because of her help, he has grown so much! We are proud to spotlight Filippa, one of many of ISR\u2019s outstanding students! Our \u201cStudent Spotlight\u201d project aims to highlight every Friday one of our outstanding students who is, appropriate to this year\u2019s theme, \u201cStaying Ahead\u201d.
