Oktober 2019<\/p>\n<p>Vergangenen Samstag feierten wir erneut mit Hunderten G\u00e4sten, interessierten Familien und Freunden der Schule unser ISR Open House Event. Bei strahlendem Sonnenschein erwartete die G\u00e4ste ein breit gef\u00e4chertes Programm mit Schnupperstunden in verschiedenen F\u00e4chern und Klassenstufen, ein\u00a0<em>Language Hallway<\/em>, kreative Kunstausstellungen, ein\u00a0<em>Science Escape Room,\u00a0<\/em>in welchem die Sch\u00fcler ihr Wissen in Chemie, Biologie und Physik unter Beweis stellen konnten sowie zahlreiche Mitmachaktionen unserer engagierten Kooperationspartner.<\/p>\n<p>Unsere Musikabteilung begeisterte die Besucher mit einem Kompositionsworkshop, in welchem die Kinder ihr eigenes Musikst\u00fcck komponieren und aufnehmen konnten. Die Sportabteilung der ISR k\u00fcmmerte sich zudem, mit der Unterst\u00fctzung des HTC Schwarz-Weiss und des PSV Neuss, um ein actionreiches Sportprogramm in unserer Sporthalle. Auch unsere IT-Abteilung sorgte wieder f\u00fcr viele staunende Gesichter durch die Vorstellung unsere Virtual-Reality-Brillen, welche die Kinder in die Tiefen der Ozeane abtauchen lie\u00dfen.<\/p>\n<p>Interessierte Familien konnten sich bei verschiedenen Pr\u00e4sentationen \u00fcber die Schule informieren oder an einer von Sch\u00fclern gef\u00fchrten Schultour in verschiedenen Sprachen teilnehmen, welche von unserer SLO\u00ae-Abteilung, unter der Leitung des Elftkl\u00e4sslers Henning, organisiert wurden. F\u00fcr das leibliche Wohl sorgte unser ISR Parent Network, welches zudem die Cafeteria der Schule im Vorfeld liebevoll mit Fahnen aus aller Welt dekorierte.<\/p>\n<p>Ganz besonders haben wir uns in diesem Jahr gefreut, Herrn Oberb\u00fcrgermeister Geisel und seine Familie, Herrn Nakata, den Schulleiter der Japanischen Internationalen Schule (JISD) sowie Herrn Fuchs, den Beiratsvorsitzenden und Gr\u00fcndungsvater der Schule, als Ehreng\u00e4ste an diesem wichtigen Tag an der ISR empfangen haben zu d\u00fcrfen.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Wir danken allen Eltern, Sch\u00fclern, Lehrern,
