Ons Nüss Helau! – Neuss Carnival Royalty and entourage visit ISR

For the third year in a row, a jovial “Helau” resonated through ISR’s halls are rooms as our international community celebrated a loved Rhine tradition – Carnival! The Neuss Carnival Royalty (Prinzenpaar) Dieter III and Anita I along with their entourage of children royalty, the royal guards, and children dance groups visited ISR on 17th February. They prepared a colorful carnival stage program full of music and dance followed by an award ceremony that was entertaining for children of all ages.

ISR Team shines at Model UN conference in the Netherlands

Last Saturday, ISR's Jr. Model United Nations team attended their first Model U.N. conference hosted by Johan van Oldebarnevelt Gymnasium in Amersfoort, the Netherlands. The team of 18 students in grades 8 and 9 were among the youngest in attendance, but they stepped into their roles as diplomats with ease, representing their assigned countries in committees working to address global issues.

ISR was honoured to host a visit from Sam Lundquist, Vice Dean for External Affairs of the Wharton School of Business of the University of Pennsylvania, on Thursday afternoon, January 26. The University of Pennsylvania is unique among America’s eight Ivy League universities in offering an undergraduate major in Business.

Grade 10 and 11 students visit the EICe research facility in Aachen

The Grade 10 IT and Grade 11 IT and physics students visited the DemoFabrik at the EICe (Enterprise Integration Centre) in Aachen. The EICe is responsible for the production of the Deutsche Post Streetskooter, carrying out research into RFids (Radio frequency identifiers) as well as designing the next generation of wireless information transmission (5G technology).
